OVERVIEW

Maximize the use of your peripherals, iPod, digital camera's, video camera's and many other devices with FireWire, which brings you flexibility without having to compromise performance. These cardbus adapters are fully OHCI compliant and designed with only the highest quality components (Texas Instruments).

Features like being able to operate through seperate channels, one can have a FireWire800 device connected to a 9Pin connector(s) and one to the FireWire 400 (6Pin) connector without slowing down the FireWire 800 ports. There is no reason your Laptop or Notebook does not have the latest FireWire connectivity. This CardBus is ready to provide up to 800Mbps to the new crop of FireWire 800/1394b devices and especially suited for the fastest 800 based RAID and high performance storage products. FireWire 800 (9Pin) is backwards compatible to FireWire 400/1394a devices.

FireWire800 Cardbus (PCMCIA) host adapter Compliant with Win98SE, ME, 2K, XP, Linux (check your distribution for drivers), and MAC OS 9x (1394a only), Mac OS 10.2.x or higher for 1394b, our 1394a, 1394b, FireWire, FireWire 800 CardBus adapter provides end users and System Integrators a unparallel feature and performance. Optional full range (110/240V) power adapter (DC 12V/1.5A output) provides sufficient bus power for 1394b 1394a device operations
