The Janus series RAID system is an important milestone for Maxtronic, Inc. Approaching critical high-end enterprise demands, redundant upgradable single controller designs require complete and flexible choices for different storage environments. The Arena JanusRAID features an Intel i80331 CPU, 2xU320 VHDCI SCSI hosts, and fully modularized components that enable the least amount of operating downtime and maintenance.

Arena's innovative RAID level TP enables advanced data protection allowing three multiple hard drives to fail during operation. Powerfuly hardware design, high scalable expansion, and a user-friendly management interface makes the Arena JanusRAID the best choice for fault tolerance, performance driven solutions.

Disk-self test, Disk Scrubbing, and Disk cloning are enabled with the latest firmware revision.

As all Arena RAID solutions, the JanusRAID SA-6640S/SA-6641S is designed to simplify complicated and time consuming operations. Compared to the conventional disk array, which is designed for experienced IT professionals, Arena comes with the innovative Plug-N-Play RAID. Just attach to your host server and Arena is up and running after following the step-by-step built-in setup program and a user interfaced button on the front panel.

The high availability hardware and firmware architecture automatically detects bad sectors and failed disk drives. When installing a replacement disk or using a hot spare disk, the system automatically rebuilds data without keyed in commands or functions.

An LCD panel Display a comprehensive operating status. Upon failure (HDD) the built in buzzer sounds and LCD panel indicated the failure status simultaneously. With the system on, remove and install hot swap components without interrupting data access.

The Arena series RAID is completely operating system independent and transparent with Windows based OS, Linux, Novell, UNIX, or Mac based servers.
