    NitroAV ‘SATAStar Series’ again delivers the latest 3G/sec SATA II performance with the most versatile combinations of external/internal ports available on the market - No other PCIe card offers this kind of flexibility. The 3-Port PCIe SATAStar is base on SiI 3132 chipset with drivers available for the MacOSX 10.4.x, Windows, Linux and Novell Netware operating systems for both RAID and non-RAID operations. The PCIe host adapter is designed for optimum performance with multiple commands for each port which are loaded into on-chip memory eliminating the need for host CPU intervention and minimizing PCIe bus usage. Command execution engines dramatically reduce latency between commands, ensuring that drives stay fully loaded with queued commands.

    Regardless if you are just using this card for standard high speed hard drive storage or serious digital audio or digital video, this card is the perfect solution - especially for users who are using devices such as DV, VCR, AJA Io, LA, LD, etc.. that require the incredible bandwidth and high speed access to external hard drives. This PCIe SATAStar Series can easily handle multi-stream of a variety video formats such as DVCPro HD, 8 bit SD, 10 bit SD, HDV, etc. allowing you to connect up to 2 external SATA devices with 3Gbps bandwidth for ultra fast data transfer.
